What is Ace CBM?

Ace Cloud Business Management (AceCBM) is a cloud ERP that runs your accounting, sales, purchasing, inventory, assets, and workforce on one platform — tailored for businesses from childcare centers to manufacturing. See the home page for an overview and where to begin.

Why is a page asking me to sign in?

Some sections are restricted and only show their content once you're signed in. Sign in with your Ace CBM account to view them.

I can't see a page or a button — why?

Screens and buttons are controlled by your role and permissions. If something you need is missing, ask your administrator to grant access in Administration & Security.

Where do I set up taxes, currencies, and document numbering?

In Setup — complete your company profile and preferences there before you start creating documents.

Sales & billing

How do I turn a Sales Order into an invoice?

You don't re-key it — create a Sales Invoice from the order. The invoice pulls in the customer, items, quantities, and prices; you confirm what's being invoiced and post it. Full steps are in Sales Invoices.

Why can't I lower a quantity on a Sales Order?

A line's quantity can't drop below what's already been invoiced. You'll see "New quantity cannot be less than already invoiced … quantity." To reduce what a customer ultimately owes, raise a Sales Invoice Return or a Credit Note instead.

"The PO no. is already attached to SO no. …" — what does that mean?

That customer PO number (and amendment) is already recorded on another Sales Order. Use the correct amendment number, or open the existing order rather than creating a duplicate.

When should I use a Sales Invoice Return vs a Credit Note?

Use a Sales Invoice Return when physical goods come back (it also puts stock back). Use a Credit Note when only the money is adjusted (a discount or overcharge) and no goods are returned.

How do I email an invoice to a customer?

Open the invoice and choose Email Customer — it sends the PDF to the customer's email on file. See Sales Invoices.

What is an e-Way Bill, and when do I need one?

An e-Way Bill (EWB) is the electronic document required to transport goods in applicable regions. You can generate and cancel one from the invoice. See Taxes, GST & e-Way Bill.

I can't cancel an invoice — what should I check?

If an e-Way Bill was generated for the invoice, cancel the e-Way Bill first, then cancel the invoice. Note that cancelling reverses the invoice's accounting and stock effects — follow your organization's policy on who may cancel.

Inventory & materials

What do all the material acronyms mean (MRN, MIN, MRV, NRGP…)?

They're the different stock-movement documents. Every one is defined in the Glossary.

Data & reporting

I posted a transaction — where does it show up?

Everywhere it's relevant, automatically. A posted Sales Invoice, for example, appears in your receivables, updates inventory, and flows into Accounting and your Dashboards — no double entry.

Search isn't finding a page I expect.

The search index is rebuilt on every deploy. If a brand-new page isn't found yet, it will be after the next build. Try a shorter keyword, or browse from the relevant module.
