Story List

The Story List feature in Ace CBM provides a centralized platform for tracking and managing project-related stories. This tool enhances project management by offering a structured and comprehensive view of all stories, including their progress, priority, and deadlines.

Features of the Story List​

  1. Detailed Story Overview

    • Displays essential details such as Story ID, Project Name, Title, Priority, Status, Assigned User, Open Date, Close Date, Expected Delivery Date, and Description.
    • Allows users to track all open, in-progress, ready-to-close, or recently closed stories.

  2. Categorized Story Status

    • Stories are categorized into New, In-Progress, Ready to Close, and Closed for easy tracking and prioritization.
    • View stories that are closed within the last 90 days for performance insights.

  3. Prioritization and Assignment

    • Helps prioritize tasks based on urgency or importance using the Priority field.
    • Assigns specific users to manage and execute each story, ensuring accountability.

  4. Advanced Filters

    • Search stories using keywords, project names, or assigned users.
    • Apply filters to narrow the list based on status, priority, or deadlines.

  5. Export and Reporting

    • Export the list of stories for external reporting or documentation.
    • Generate detailed reports to share progress updates with stakeholders.

Steps to View the Story List​

  1. Navigate to the Story List

    • From the Ace CBM dashboard, go to Task/Alert > Story List. enter image description here

  2. View Stories by Status

    • Use the category toggles at the top of the screen to filter stories by status:
      • All Open: Shows all ongoing stories.
      • New: Displays newly created stories.
      • In Progress: Lists stories actively being worked on.
      • Ready to Close: Highlights stories ready for completion.
      • Closed (Last 90 Days): Shows recently completed stories for reference.

  3. Search and Filter Stories

    • Use the search bar to find specific stories by ID, title, or assigned user.
    • Apply advanced filters to refine the list based on criteria such as project name, priority, or expected delivery date.

  4. Export Data

    • Click the Export button to download the story list for reporting or analysis.
