My Defects

The My Defects page in Ace CBM allows users to create and track defects they have reported. This feature helps maintain accountability and ensures quick resolution of issues through a streamlined process.

Steps to Access My Defects​

  1. Navigate to My Defects

    • From the Ace CBM dashboard, select Tasks/Alerts > My Defects. enter image description here
    • The system displays all defects created by the logged-in user.

  2. Create a Defect

    • Click the Create button.
    • Fill out the Defect Type, Severity, and Description fields.
    • Click Create to save the defect.

  3. Monitor and Update Defects

    • Use the Status column to track the progress of your reported defects.

Features of My Defects​

  1. Centralized Dashboard

    • Displays defects opened by the user with details such as defect type, severity, open date, expected delivery date, status, and description.
    • Filters like New, In-Progress, and Ready to Close provide easy navigation.

  2. Defect Creation

    • Users can create defects by specifying:
      • Defect Type: Categorize the defect (e.g., Front End Issue, Data Issue, New Feature Request). enter image description here
      • Severity: Select the severity level (Critical, Major, Minor, Cosmetic, Enhancement). enter image description here
      • Description: Add detailed notes about the defect.

  3. Track Personal Contributions

    • Provides a personal log of defects reported, offering transparency and insights into task completion.

  4. Seamless Workflow Integration

    • Links defects to relevant projects for better project management and accountability.
